Every summer I make it a point to journey back to my hometown. I look forward to this trip and enjoy every moment while I am back home. I grew up in upstate New York in a small town. It is such a joy for me to be able to spend time with my family. Not only is my family important to me, but family is important to my business as well. I consider it an honor to capture such special moments between family and friends. I get to partake in photographing newborns, marriages, and families every week. Just today our studio was discussing how quickly time flies, and how important it is to document every moment. I hope you enjoy some pictures I took of Cole while we picked cherries in New York this summer. This moment is now forever saved in my memory. This week I encourage you to capture and celebrate your family!

After years of marriage, John and Ericka are still an adorable couple whose love for each other continues to radiate. Their relationship is about to blossom even more, as they have just found out they are pregnant with their first baby! I was privileged to capture some unforgettable snapshots of love and excitement in their shoot at the Naples Beach Hotel.

A favorite hobby of  John and Ericka is reading cookbooks and creating gourmet meals together. You may still see them at Barnes and Noble, only now preparing for a new type of cooking using ingredients such as bananas and squash for tiny, toothless mouths. The fact that these two are not afraid to get their feet a little sandy or their pants a little wet convinces me they will be spectacular parents!

Pictures capture the milestones of life and freeze those overjoyed facial expressions of the most meaningful moments in time. I love how John and Ericka chose to memorialize their love and a new adventure together through this shoot. Why not celebrate all the special moments of life? We were so excited to photograph baby Bryden for his 6 month portraits!! There are so many things you need to think about when photographing small children - like, the time of day, nap times, what to wear, props, etc. so many decisions can often be overwhelming for a mom so we really try to help in the process and make it as enjoyable as possible. And lets just say, baby Bryden was a true champ!!! He was fantastic through the entire session – all smiles and easy to work with. And did you see those eyelashes??

Baby Bryden was born October 26, 2009. These pictures were taken just 6 days after he was born! He was a perfect little sleeper for his newborn pictures. Look at all that hair!

We had a really fun portrait session with Cole in a nearby pumpkin patch! His overalls were perfect for the setting!

In addition to his urban baby 9 month portrait session, we took some pictures of Cole in the studio dressed up in his first Halloween costume! He looks adorable!

These images were captured in our studio this past week and we are all absolutely in love with little Cole! He is 6 months old and loving playing with his little feet these days!

Little Charlie just turned 1 year old this month…Happy Birthday!! We have had multiple photo sessions with him and his family during his 1st year. It is hard to believe he is 1 year old already! Here are some of our favorites from the past year!
