I really enjoyed meeting and photographing the lovely couple that Annie and Dave are together. Originally from Britain (yes, their amazing accents proved it), they now live in upstate New York. Annie and Dave are avid world traveler and have been all over the globe. Many of the pictures seen were shot at their vacation home on North Captiva Island. The house is a really cool modern architectural gem. North Captiva Island is only accessible by boat or private plane so it is a relaxing, exclusive place to visit. Annie and Dave are both successful business owners and yet down-to-earth and super fun. Their beautiful wedding was exciting and lively and I’m so thankful I got to share in their special day.

Kristina and John had their ceremony and reception at the Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa located in Fort Myers, Florida. They had a lovely ceremony on the beach overlooking Sanibel Harbour & Sanibel Island and their reception was held indoors in the Island Room. Kristina and John’s wedding celebration was unique in that the bride is from Norway and the groom is 100% American! A Norwegian tradition is to have a lot of toasts and speeches at the reception!

Katie and Nick were married at the South Seas Island Resort located on Captiva Island, Florida. Their ceremony was a beautiful intimate ceremony located on the beach at Sunset Cove – a private and romantic private beach located at the tip of Captiva Island.

Heather and Tim were married this past weekend on a beautiful Bonita Springs Beach. They had a lovely intimate ceremony and reception with family and friends.

Jessica and Bill were married at the exclusive tropical South Seas Island Resort located at the very end of Captiva Island. Their ceremony was on the beach facing the Gulf of Mexico and their dinner reception was located on Kings Crown lawn.

Barbara and Randy were married at the Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa located in Fort Myers, Florida right before the Sanibel-Captiva toll bridge. We were able to take a ton of pictures outdoors before the ceremony as well as have the ceremony outdoors on the beach before the rain came. After the ceremony the wedding party and guests stood on the dock and threw flower petals into the water.  Since it was raining during the sunset time when we normally go back outside for pictures, we were able to take some artistic and creative images inside the Sanibel Harbour Resort! Their cake was uniquely shaped and decorated as a castle. Each individual table had small castle centerpieces as well.

Kimberly and Robert were married at the Marco Island Yacht Club on Saturday, May 9, 2009. It was a beautiful beach wedding and they were a fun a beautiful couple.

Jennifer and Adam were married at the South Seas Resort on Captiva Island, Florida. We brought along our new fisheye lens for some fun shots!

Nicole and Erin were married at the South Seas Resort on Captiva Island. The couple had their ceremony on Sunset Beach and their reception at King’s Crown.

The great thing about pictures at Sunset Beach is you can have the gulf and the beach as your background as well as the golf course and palm trees as well.

The groom actually went face first into their wedding cake!
