Andrea and Chris had an absolutely beautiful wedding that was held at the Sanctuary on Sanibel Island. The venue was a perfect blend of class and comfort and had many great spots for pictures. The Sanctuary Country Club recently opened to the public for weddings and was a wonderful venue choice for Chris and Andrea’s special day.

Andrea’s dress was very unique and she looked entirely gorgeous as she walked down the aisle to her handsome groom. Every table setting, candle, and flower was perfectly in place and set the stage for a lovely evening. Andrea and Chris were surrounded by the family and friends who loved and celebrated them as a couple, including all of his fraternity brothers and her sorority sisters! Carrie Darling was the Wedding Coordinator for the event. She did such a fantastic job with everything and we were so pleased to work with her! We wish Andrea and Chris the best together and hope you enjoy this peak of their beautiful wedding day.

Chris and Jamie’s wedding was absolutely lovely in every way. They were married at the Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa. This bride and groom are originally from upstate New York but the groom’s family has ties to Sanibel Island and have been visiting for years. A Sanibel wedding was not only an option of beauty, but one of meaning. We also got to photograph their engagement session on the island and their rehearsal dinner cruise on the Sanibel Princess. The cruise was a lively and celebratory event featuring an amazing performance by the Clint Wiley Band. The wedding ceremony was on the pool deck overlooking the Gulf and everything from the weather, to the flowers, to the bride herself was again, simply lovely. The reception showed off a gorgeous cake from Kakes by Karen that had hand formed edible flowers.  Guests enjoyed a spacious modern lounge area for socializing and a delicious candy bar. Every detail was in place, and at the end of the evening, Chris and Jamie had a memorable wedding day… which is the exact description they had hoped for.

Natalie and Matt are engaged to be married on October 13, 2009 at a private home on Captiva Island. In addition to photographing their wedding in October, we also had the privilege of photographing their engagement photos! They are a fun and cute couple together. We are looking forward to photographing their upcoming wedding  as well!

The Day family had their family portraits taken on one of the beautiful beaches of Sanibel Island. The 2 older sisters did such a great job with their baby brother!

Allyson and James had their engagement pictures taken at the lighthouse on Sanibel Island, Florida. They are a really fun couple. We are looking forward to photographing their wedding this coming weekend!

Sara and Daniel were married on February 16, 2008 at Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa located just before the Sanibel Island causeway. Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa always provides a beautiful wedding experience for their brides and grooms. 

Sanibel Harbour Resort has many lovely locations for formal photographs of the wedding party. Their large beautiful rooms allow us plenty of room and ideas for photographs of the wedding party getting ready and their outdoor property has the lovely beach, a long boat dock, a large balcony overlooking the pool, and tons of palm trees!

As you can see in these pictures, Sanibel Harbour’s beach, which is surrounded by palm trees and other large plants, provides a quiet, intimate ceremony.

In addition to a delicious seashell cake, Sara and Daniel also offered chocolate fondue with a variety of fruit and desserts for dipping.

Since the couple was from such a cold state like Massachusetts, formal pictures outside, especially on the beach, were very important to her!
