Overlooking Charlotte Harbor, the Tarpon Inn was built in 1914 and offers an old world Southwest Florida atmosphere. Here, couples can not only stay in one of the bed and breakfast's comfortable accommodations, but can host Bokeelia wedding ceremonies and receptions as well.
Intimate Wedding Ceremonies
There are a variety of places where couples hosting a Tarpon Inn wedding can say “I do.” Some couples prefer to say their vows directly next to the harbor with the sounds of the water splashing in the background. Others are married next to the hotel's exquisite fountain, which offers plenty of great photo opportunities. Couples can also hold ceremonies on the Tarpon Inn's upper porch, where guests can sit down and enjoy aerial views of the island.
Wedding Packages
Couples having a Bokeelia wedding at the Tarpon Inn can choose from a variety of wedding packages. All couples getting married at the Tarpon Inn are able to invite up to 50 guests and use the hotel between the hours of 2:00pm and 10:00pm. Couples are also assisted by an innkeeper, who can help with pre-wedding consultations and deliveries, and are also able to make overnight accommodations and use the boat ramp and dock facilities if they need to.
Simply Love Wedding Package
The Simply Love package at the Tarpon Inn includes a professional wedding consultation and coordination, an intimate ceremony with a minister or notary, and the filing of a marriage license. Couples who choose the Simply Love package for their Bokeelia wedding are also treated to pre-recorded wedding ceremony music as well as a bouquet for the bride and boutonniere for the groom. However, there is not a reception included in this package.
Romance is in the Air Wedding Package
This Tarpon Inn wedding package includes everything that comes with the "Simply Love" package but also features a reception. Couples hosting Bokeelia weddings who choose this package are treated to disc jockey/MC services for up to four hours as well as a grand wedding cake and champagne toast.
The Perfect Wedding Package
This is by far the most extravagant wedding package offered at the Tarpon Inn. On top of a bouquet for the bride and a boutonniere for the groom, this package ensures the maid of honor and best man also have flowers and the reception will feature a vibrant buffet table with floral centerpiece as well. The reception has a buffet-style menu that includes fresh fruit and vegetables as well as lobster claws, crab claws and fresh shrimp.
