Wedding Receptions
Wedding reception pictures can be some of the most fun images from a wedding. All the preparation that goes into planning a wedding can be quite stressful for the wedding couple. Even the wedding day preparations and the actual wedding ceremony can cause some brides and grooms to be nervous.

But once the ceremony and formal pictures are over, the wedding couple is finally able to relax and focus all their attention on having a great time with their guests and wedding party. At this point, even the planned events that are scheduled to take place during the wedding reception are usually just fun and stress free.

Great Time for Candid and Spontaneous Pictures
For us as wedding reception photographers, this is a great time to capture great images of people having a wonderful time. Although many of the wedding reception pictures are of the planned events during the reception, most of the pictures are actually candid photos of the spontaneous things that take place throughout the evening.

Special Details and Moments Unique to Your Wedding Reception
From our many years of experience, Jennifer Angeloro Photography knows which wedding reception pictures are important to take at wedding receptions. We make sure that we photograph the special details and moments unique to each wedding reception.

Photos of the Wedding Reception Details
First and foremost, we make sure that we photograph all the details that the wedding couple has worked so hard to plan for their wedding reception. After the ceremony, while the main photographer is photographing the family, bridal party, and the bride and groom, the second photographer is at the wedding reception taking pictures of the site and all the details before any of the guests enter.

The wedding reception details include things such as the table seating display, the guest book or framed picture for people to sign, the centerpieces, flowers, party favors, chair covers and bows, other special table decorations, and the cake and cake table display.

Photos of the Wedding Reception Decorations
The possibilities for wedding reception decorations are endless. Since Fort Myers, Florida is a popular location for destination weddings, many of our wedding clients choose a beach theme for their ceremony and wedding reception, but we have also seen other unique themes such as tropical, Caribbean, Christmas, Latino, and other themes that go with a certain color scheme. Each wedding reception theme and décor is unique, so we make sure to capture each and every special detail.

Photos of the Special Events Planned at the Wedding Reception
In addition to capturing all the beautiful details at a wedding reception, we also strive to capture all the special and important events, both planned and unplanned, that take place during the wedding reception. The first wedding reception event that is important to photograph is the grand entrance and formal announcement of the wedding party and wedding couple. After the wedding party and newlyweds are announced, the order of events differs at each wedding.

The other important events that typically take place during the wedding reception that we make sure we capture include the bride and groom’s first dance, the father/daughter dance, the mother/son dance, toasts, bouquet toss, garter removal, garter toss, and cake cutting. Of course, some wedding receptions don’t have all of these events, and some have other events instead. We make sure that we photograph each and every special event that takes place during the wedding reception. We work with the wedding planner and D.J. to find out the timeline for evening so that we are ready for the special event that takes place next.

Photos of the Unplanned Candid Moments at the Wedding Reception
In addition to all photos of the special events that are planned, many of the pictures are actually of all the unplanned special moments that take place throughout the evening. These wedding reception pictures include such moments as couples dancing on the dance floor, the wedding couple kissing, guests doing crazy dances on the dance floor, the bride hugging her mom, and little kids dancing. We also try to get a lot of group and couple photos of the guests throughout the evening.

Jennifer Angeloro Photography understands that capturing the planned as well as spontaneous, candid events during the wedding reception are very important to the bride and groom and we strive to do whatever we can to make sure the bride and groom will have images of these moments to last forever. We want to make sure the bride and groom have photos of the whole evening - pictures of the venue, the wedding party, and the guests. We want them to be able to remember their wedding reception night forever.
